Weyerhaeuser
Weyerhaeuser’s OSB products begin with roof and wall sheathing panels that won’t warp, buckle, cup or sag. For subfloors, you can choose from Diamond Premium Floor Panels with easy-fit tongue-and-groove edges, value-focused Edge Floor Panels edged in green or Edge Gold Enhanced Floor Panels that come with a 50-year limited warranty. Weyerhaeuser’s Radiant Barrier Sheathing features a reflective foil that blocks 97 percent of the sun’s radiant energy to minimize heat transfer. Weyerhaeuser has even added SturdiStep Stair Treads, precisely engineered for uniform size and ease of installation.
Huber Engineered Wood
Huber Engineered Woods manufactures AdvanTech and Huber Blue OSB wall and roof sheathing for use in two-layer systems as well as its Huber Blue Plus, which comes with a fully sanded top surface, enhanced moisture protection, a nail grid pattern and tongue-and-groove edges. For extra stiffness and strength, PerformMAX 500 offers an advanced resin overlay. To supply the oversized market, Huber Industrial Panel is available in lengths of up to 24 feet and widths of eight feet with customized sanding options while Huber’s Tru-Spec addresses the need for engineered wood products that will retain dimensional stability for custom milling or machining without cupping, warping, twisting or bowing.
LP
LP has engineered a full range of OSB products, from Standard OSB to WeatherLogic Panels that offer an air and water barrier. LP’s TechShield Radiant Barrier Sheathing blocks up to 97 percent of the radiant heat transfer in a roof. LP FlameBlock Fire-Rated Sheathing has 15-minute thermal barrier protection and a 30-minute flame spread rating. LP LongLength and LongLength XL are oversized sheathing panels that can dramatically reduce the number of sheathing joints in large or multi-family projects. For subflooring, LP’s TopNotch OSB comes in two performance levels with tongue-and-groove self-spacing and rain-channel notches to handle construction exposure. LP’s premium subflooring, however, is Legacy, LP’s strongest, stiffest and quietest subfloor thanks to Gorilla Glue Technology and resin bonds at the molecular level.
